After seeing Steve Losh’s screencast showing tmux displaying Rdio’s currently playing track (linkage), I knew I wanted the same for Turntable.fm.
After much research trying to access Growl and Fluid through AppleScript, I realized that I probably wasn’t going to be able to get the currently played track from ttfm.
I figured at least I could make it work with iTunes, so here it is.

P.S. It should be relatively easy to modify this to use both iTunes and Rdio, along with Pandora if you use a client that has AppleScript support.
Finally went to the Georgia Aquarium with Melissa, Gabe, and Leanne. It was awesome.
Going to get a ride in today whether the weather agrees or not.
